Tamara E. Sacks
MD
Tamara E. Sacks, MD, is a board-certified internist with over a decade of experience. She is a graduate of George Washington University School of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Sacks also completed the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she received comprehensive training to provide care to patients living with serious illnesses and at the end of life.
Before joining Community LIFE, Dr. Sacks worked as a hospitalist, an in-patient palliative care consultant, and a hospice medical director and taught palliative care to the front-line staff at nursing homes.
