A full-time Geriatrician is sought for Community LIFE, a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, in the Pittsburgh region. The Geriatrician is responsible for managing the medical care of the PACE program participants across the health care continuum and is an integral member of an Interdisciplinary Team, which continually assesses each patient, develops and provides a comprehensive (social, medical, spiritual) plan of care. Summary of Job Duties:
The Transportation and Facility Maintenance Manager (T.F.M.M.) will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision, scheduling, and coordination of the preventive and episodic maintenance of multiple Adult Day Centers and Health Clinic sites including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and occasional installations or relocation of furniture, equipment, and decorative items. The T.F.M.M. will coordinate services through contract providers as necessary. The T.F.M.M will work closely with each center administrator to ensure regulatory compliance with all local, state and federal guidance for all physical site requirements. In addition to facilities the T.F.M.M. is also responsible for the scheduling and implementation of participant home repairs authorized by the Community LIFE Interdisciplinary Team. The T.F.M.M will also provide management and oversight of the transportation department which includes direct supervision of the transportation supervisors, over sight of fleet maintenance and fleet purchasing/turn over.
Qualifications:
Minimum education/experience: Bachelor’s degree or technical training in applicable fields such as facilities management and fleet management and two to three years experience as a supervisor in the maintenance field, transportation field or a combination of education and experience. Experience coordinating and implementing facilities services, project management, dispatch/ scheduling efficiencies and valid PA driver’s license. Three years of increasingly responsible professional experience in transportation planning and scheduling. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and 5 or more years of supervisor experience acquired in healthcare facility maintenance and transportation.
