Loneliness
Education Series by Randy Hebert, MD, Medical Director
Loneliness is bad for health. In fact, people who report being lonely have a higher rate of heart disease, dementia, and even death.
Trying to stay healthy is more than taking medicine. Something as simple as having friends can help. At Community LIFE we try to help in this respect by encouraging people to use the day center and to participate in activities.
