Alexis Gies

Alexis Gies is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mount Aloysius College and a master’s degree in nursing from Maryville University.
Before joining Community LIFE, she worked in the hospital as a registered nurse (RN) on the respiratory and neurology floors, and then switched to hospice care. She was then an RN supervisor in long-term care for the geriatric population, which inspired her to begin schooling to become a nurse practitioner focusing on geriatrics.
