Rita Sipes has experience in long-term care and geriatrics, medical-surgical acute care, nurse education, and primary care. She obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Penn State, as well as a Post Graduate Certificate Nurse Educator. In the past, she worked as a medical-surgical clinical adjunct professor for Towson University’s BSN program at their Hagerstown, MD campus. She has also worked as a nurse practitioner in a wound clinic setting.
